CAMAS VISION CENTRE

Dr. Robert Nicacio, the optometrist at Camas Vision Centre, provide general eye care to adults and children, and specializes in specialty contact lens fits for hard-to-fit patients. Dr. Nicacio offers solutions to patients with keratoconus, high astigmatism, or post corneal transplant achieve normal functional vision.

Plus, younger patients with high myopia (nearsightedness) are also candidates for orthokeratology at our office. We utilize special gas permeable contact lenses to perfect your vision overnight for clear vision during the day without requiring glasses or contacts. The major benefit of this process is that orthokeratology can slow the progression of myopia and prevent greater risks of eye disease, such as macular degeneration or retinal detachments.

Our office is around 2000 square feet, with two eye exam lanes, contact lenses dispensing room, and testing room. The office includes the latest in digital retinal imaging, the Daytona Optomap, to help patients get a 200 wide-range view of their retina to detect signs of ocular disease without requiring dilation. Our ophthalmic technicians are trained to run all of our specialized testing equipment and provide amazing care to our patients.

Between both offices, we strive to understand, diagnose, and treat the underlying causes behind the poor vision, whether due to the health of the cornea, traumatic brain injury, learning disability, or problems in visual development.
