Meet Dr. Linda Medeski, O.D., Your Vancouver Optometrist
Dr. Linda Medeski, O.D., founder and lead optometrist at Downtown Vision Centre, has served Vancouver families for over 25 years. Her expertise extends beyond general optometry into neuro-optometric rehabilitation, helping patients recover visual skills after a stroke, concussion, or traumatic brain injury.
Through detailed evaluations and personalized treatment plans, Dr. Medeski identifies subtle changes in visual function and helps patients rebuild visual coordination, focus, and comfort.
Supporting Dr. Medeski are two certified vision therapists who help design and implement individualized programs for patients of all ages. Their collaborative approach ensures each person receives care that supports both eye health and quality of life.

Our Vancouver office spans nearly 3,700 square feet, featuring three exam lanes, two vision therapy rooms, a dedicated contact lens dispensary, and an advanced testing suite equipped with OCT, fundus imaging, and dry eye diagnostics. This expanded space, added in 2017, gives patients a relaxing environment while maintaining efficient, thorough care.
Most appointments, including pre-testing, eye exams, and optical services, are completed within 40 minutes. Our patients never feel rushed, and always leave confident in the precision of their care and the clarity of their vision.
